RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL APPLIANCES
HANDS-ON REFRIGERATION SYSTEM SERVICING WORKSHOP
This two-day workshop is designed for maintenance personnel who are responsible for preventive maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing of residential and commercial appliances, such as refrigerators, reach in refrigeration equipment, walk-in refrigeration equipment, ice machines, and gas and electric ranges. The explanation of specific refrigeration and electrical systems and their components is emphasized throughout, with a focus on troubleshooting and repair.
Interactive workbooks that descriptively explain and detail the operation of the refrigeration and electrical system components of appliances are used throughout the workshop, and each workshop attendee receives a manual to take with them for use on the job. Attendees are welcome to bring their own test equipment, wiring diagrams, and specific appliance information for evaluation and review by the instructor. In the hands-on portion of the workshop, participants will connect gauges and use electrical test equipment to evaluate the operation of refrigeration systems.
