Refrigeration Fundamentals and

Hands-on HVACR Equipment Servicing Workshop

This Two-Day hands-on workshop explores the fundamentals of maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing air conditioning and refrigeration systems from a nuts and bolts perspective. Once a review of the fundamentals of refrigeration systems is accomplished, enabling all attendees to have a full understanding of refrigeration system components and cycles, they will work in a hands-on environment to practice and develop their refrigeration system servicing skills. Each attendee is issued a take-home interactive workbook that can be used as a reference later on the job.

In the hands-on refrigeration system portion of the workshop, participants will use gauges and a temperature/pressure chart to evaluate operating systems, and practice charging procedures. All necessary tools and equipment are provided, and attendees are also welcome to bring their own tools and test equipment.
