Troubleshooting, Servicing & Maintaining Gas Furnaces

For Maximum Operating Efficiency

This two-day workshop is designed for maintenance personnel who are responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of LP or natural gas furnaces. Information on how to properly adjust burners for maximum efficiency and safe operation, use test equipment to check for carbon monoxide levels, check air flow, and perform electrical circuit and component troubleshooting is presented. Fundamental concepts related to furnace troubleshooting and repair, along with more advanced service concepts are covered, so this workshop is appropriate for both those maintenance personnel who are experienced in furnace servicing, as well as those who work in a non-HVAC department and want to cross train.

An interactive, take-home workbook that visually and descriptively explains how to test components, use wiring diagrams, and diagnose furnace operation problems is issued to each participant for use during the workshop, also serves as a reference manual for use later on the job.
