A TWO-DAY BUILDING MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE WORKSHOP
HANDS-ON ELECTRICAL WIRING & EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE, PUMPS & MOTORS, AND PLUMBING SYSTEM MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS

This hands-on workshop provides real-world training in hands-on wiring and equipment maintenance, pumps and motors, and plumbing system maintenance and repairs. Workplace safety and adhering to the NEC (National Electric Code) is emphasized throughout, and integrated into each hands-on wiring project, as well as instruction on a green approach to evaluating electrical systems and components to ensure maximum energy savings. Building and mechanical codes are addressed in the plumbing segment of the workshop. All necessary hand tools, materials and test equipment needed to accomplish all wiring projects, troubleshooting and test procedures, and equipment needed to accomplish the hands-on wiring and plumbing projects are provided. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own test equipment, wiring diagrams, or specific equipment information for evaluation and review by the instructor. Interactive, take-home workbooks that serve as a reference manual for use later on the job are issued to each participant.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Jim Johnson has more than three decades of work experience in building maintenance, plumbing and electrical maintenance, motor and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and is an experienced workshop leader. He holds multiple certifications in Green Technology, and is certified as an energy auditor. Adult education is his specialty, and he consistently receive high marks from workshop attendees for his ability to explain and simplify concepts, allowing technical and maintenance personnel to put the information they learn to work in a practical way in their job.
