BUILDING MAINTENANCE

ADVANCED HANDS-ON ELECTRICAL WIRING

AND

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE WORKSHOP

(Includes A Professional Quality Take-Home Digital Meter)

This two-day hands-on workshop provides real-world training in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical wiring and lighting systems, and related electrical equipment such as motors and electric water heaters. Adhering to NEC (National Electric Code) requirements is emphasized throughout and integrated into each hands-on wiring project, as well as each troubleshooting and repair procedure demonstrated and explained.

All necessary tools, materials and test equipment needed to accomplish all wiring projects and troubleshooting procedures are provided during the workshop. However, attendees are welcome to bring their own test equipment, wiring diagrams, or specific electrical equipment information for evaluation and review by the instructor. An interactive, take-home workbook that is issued to each participant for use during the workshop also serves as a reference manual for use later on the job. Each participant is also issued a professional quality take-home digital multimeter that is capable of testing Resistance, Continuity, Capacitance, AC and DC Voltage, AC and DC Current, and Temperature.
